Achebe Vs. Fifty cent

This is actually an adaptation from my post last September...

Well-known Nigerian-born writer, Chinua Achebe, recently turned down (a mouth-watery) offer by American rapper, Curtis Jackson A.K.A 50Cent, who intends to adapt the title of the former's most prominent work "THINGS FALL APART" for his newest movie, alongside an offer of  A million buck$.

Achebe tells Fiddie to shove it where the sun never shines as he would not give him(50Cent) the rights, not even for one billion dollars (1b$).
Lawyers of Pa Achebe attempted no effort to make it easier for the popular rapper from Queens, NYC, as they claimed he had not sought their consent before going ahead to make the movie, *scream* and that the bone of contention had been around about 17 years before young 50 was even born.(DOUBLE DOSE uhnn?)

Too badt fo the younger dude, he had to back out, renaming the film "ALL THINGS FALL APART", whats the frigging difference!!!:-@.
It just makes me wonder, is it just a copyright thing or I sense a little age in there**??
Just thinkin...
